Donald Duck Handmade Box Card
In 1928, the character of Mickey Mouse was created. His group of lovable friends shortly followed. Today, nearly a century later, they're as popular as ever, but did you know that Mickey isn't the Disney character with the most film appearances? That honor actually belongs to his good friend Donald Duck. If you have someone in your life who loves Donald Duck and the rest of the Disney characters, then they'll adore this Donald Duck Handmade Box Card. This fun 3D card can be folded down into an envelope, then popped back up again when you take it out.
From the blogger: "Create an adorable Donald Duck box card for a birthday surprise that is sure to put a smile on the face of any Disney fan."

"Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy..." It must be none other than Donald Duck! I don't use the Cricut, but I do have coloring books and can trace objects fairly well. That will get me by I think in this instance. I'm not sure I'm going to keep him the silver color. I may go with a white but we'll see. I love the iconic sailor suit for the flaps! I even like the balloons in the background! I'll have to see if there's a way to include the number of the birthday...well...unless it's an adult! Thanks for sharing!!!

While I don't have the cricut template, I think I can still pull this off with a good tracing and some clean cutting. I love how you can use this idea to make something neat and original. It is awesome that you can use an iconic cartoon character too. I think people would love to get this as an adult or a kid on their birthday.
