For all of my life, I have enjoyed the arts. As a former costumer and re-enactor of past times, I find antique clothing and styles fascinating. But as an artist and former collage teacher who took up Photoshop rather late in the game, I really do enjoy taking images apart and finding new ways of putting them together again - or making something entirely unexpected using those various parts.

That's the inspiration for my blog: art with collage and a little dash of history. For me, this has been a constant source of pleasure as well as a way of learning new ways of making art along with some crafting projects that other people can use. It is also a way of making old things look new again or refreshed, such as my Paper Doll Collection or my Book Artist Sets.

My blog, Plush Possum Studio has always been devoted to the offering of fun things to do for both children and adults. This has been some of the best fun that I've ever had being creatively playful. I'd like to encourage any visitor to locate the Categories List in the Left hand column of my 3 column blog. There are lots of fun choices to be found there.
And please respect all of the copyrights that are listed at the foot of each post. These are very important. We respect each other as a community of artists. Because that's also a part of the fun world of art and crafting that I've come to love so well.
