"I think this is a great idea for topping gifts and other uses as well. We are getting closer to the holidays and it is the perfect time to start preparing for wrapping gifts and thinking about working toward having a more organized holiday season. These paper pom poms would be great for gifts, but could also be used for a garlands, even a paper wreath for inside doors. Good one to try very soon!!!"

"These would be a really fun project to do with kids or grandkids! It is really fun to decorate for Fall and these leaves would be nice for a paper garland, for a wreath or for sticking on a window. Crafting with kids helps them with dexterity and artistic creation. My daughter and I used to do crafts together for fun. One time, when she was in college, she brought home a couple of friends and we all crafted for fun one evening. Hoping for grandkids one day to craft with too!"

"I tried this and it was hard to cut uniformly just like paper doilies, so I think a light weight paper would work better. Two more things I think it would have worked better if I had started with a square instead of rectangle and the other thing is to make sure to make enough pleats so the sides touch when the snowflake is unfolded."
