Wow! What difference a little color can make! Take that little white and maybe unscented tea candle and add the color of quilled beauty and Wowza!!! It just pops! I agree with everyone here that a LED tea light will be safest. I meet with a group of women once and a month and we do crafting and I'm think this may be easy enough to teach it as our craft! Thanks for contributing it!

I love the quilled paper candle holder and the LED tea light is an excellent idea. I'm new at quilling, but I think I can do this.

I wondered about that too, with the risk of it catching on fire. I suppose that, as with any lit candle, you just wouldn't want to leave it unattended!

That is a really cute handle holder disc. The colours are so vibrant. I think this will be a super easy and fast project that can even be made with children. Just one thing, how thin or thick should the paper be? And is there not a risk of the paper catching on fire?

Because it's far down on the tea light, it shouldn't be near enough to the small flame (I still wouldn't leave it lit and unattended). However, an LED tea light would be your safest option if it's a worry! - Krista, Editor
