Then, all you have to do is cut the colorful cardboard into strips, apply some tacky glue, and roll them into spirals using a small piece of wire. Mod Podge them to make them glossy. And voila! You have paper beads all ready for a bracelet or necklace.

I used to make these out of old magazine pages and a home made quilling tool. These are just as pretty as the smaller ones I made, and maybe a little more colorful! They're not hard to do at all and can be used for a lot of things. If you're ambitious enough you can make a beaded curtain from them. I always thought I'd like to do that.

Such a cool idea. It's like a thrifty paper quilling craft!
