My name is Helen and I have a passion for all things paper crafting and love nothing better than to design a project and then to show someone else how to make it. I teach craft classes in the real world and produce online workshops in the virtual world!

I started my blog The Craft Project to learn about the virtual crafting industry. Little did I know how addictive it would be! The crafting blogging community is a caring and sharing one and I love being part of that. My blog is a record of all the things I have had to learn to open my ETSY and Blog Shops that stock my online workshops. When I look at that first post I made I realise I had absolutely no clue how much I would need to learn!

Today I have the first few of my templates and video tutorials up for sale and share lots of free tutorials on my Blog and my YouTube Channel. How exciting to think that crafters anywhere in the world can choose to purchase my online workshops and could then be having fun crafting along with me in my virtual classroom.

My ultimate goal is to have a purpose built and beautiful website up and running. It involves lots of saving which is giving me time to visualise what I want my crafting customers' experience to be. Beautiful projects with professional and easy-to-follow tutorials that can be accessed at the touch of a button anytime day or night and from anywhere in the world. The beauty of an online workshop is that wherever you are in the world we can craft together anytime day or night, you can pause me anytime a cup of coffee and a cookie calls and that you can rewind me and make me repeat myself as many times as you like!!! ;-)

I count myself extremely lucky to have a very supportive husband and two wonderful sons. They are my biggest fans and are cheering me on. I love them for putting up with my mountain of crafting goodies and the many hours I spend making my tutorials often talking to myself as I edit them. They haven't reported me yet!!!
