Instructions:
1. Score the light yellow marbled cardstock in half to create a card sized 4.6” x 6.4”.
2. Use the stamp pad to apply an even layer of the black ink onto one of the butterflies in the Jablo’s stamp collection. Transfer the image onto one of the sugar paper rectangles and then carefully lift the stamp. Do the same with the other sugar paper rectangles. Allow the stamped images to dry thoroughly before continuing with the next step.
3. With the fold at the left, center and glue nine of the rectangles onto the front of the card. Keep one white rectangle aside. Alternate the colors of the rectangles from left to right, white-yellow-orange for the first row; orange-white-yellow for the second row and yellow-orange-white for the third row.
4. Use the Fineliner pen to draw “zig-zag stitches” onto the patchwork design.
5. “Frame” the patchwork with the 0.2” wide yellow satin ribbon and neatly cut off any protruding edges.
6. Use the yellow; orange and red colored felt-tip pens to add color to the four white butterflies. Allow to dry thoroughly.
7. Cut out the fourth white butterfly and glue it over the white butterfly in the middle of the card. Do not glue it down completely only affix the second butterfly’s body to the body of the first. The wings must be loose and be able to move, to create an effect of a butterfly dancing whenever the card is turned.
8. Add the finishing touches with the rhinestone beads.
