Mixed Media Paper Sunflower
Have you ever incorporated part of a real flower into your DIY paper flowers? If not, then give it a try with this Mixed Media Paper Sunflower. You will use real sunflower seeds to create the center disc florets you see on a sunflower.
The rest of this paper sunflower will be made by cutting pieces of crepe paper, coloring the paper petals to give them more dimension and realistic features, and then assembling them around your seed center. You can make this crepe paper sunflower small or life size depending on how you want to use it.

Now this is different. I have never seen this done before but a great idea for that someone who loves sunflowers or flower art. I love the way the real seeds give it some depth and the flowes are tissue paper so it will not wilt. Put it in a frame and hang it on a wall or over the fireplace. Nice craft.
