However, just because this box is perfect for cupcakes, you can easily use this cute cupcake-shaped box to hold anything that fits. The embellishments on this project include sequins, ribbon, twine, lace, pearls, and glitter, so this cupcake box is full of glamour and shine.

  • Koi Watercolors

  • Tattered Lace Midi Blooms

  • Patterned paper

  • Tattered Lace Crossover die cutting machine

  • Paper mache cupcake box

  • Sequins

  • Modeling paste

  • Ribbon

  • Twine

  • Lace

  • Pearls

  • Coarse glitter

  • Stylus


  1. Paint cupcake box white.

  2. Use modeling paste to "frost" the top of cupcake. Allow to dry.

  3. Cut two cupcake wrappers from patterned paper. Adhere wrappers to the cupcake box.

  4. Adhere lace to bottom of cupcake.

  5. Adhere sequins with tacky glue.

  6. Cut flowers and leaves from water color paper using Tattered Lace Crossover die cutting machine and Tattered Lace Midi Blooms dies.

  7. Use Koi Watercolors to color the flowers. Shape flowers using a stylus.

  8. Stack flowers and adhere together. Add pearls to the centers.

  9. Tie ribbon with twine and adhere to top of cupcake.

  10. Cut small felt circle using Tattered Lace Decorative Edge Circle Die.

  11. Glue felt circle to top of cupcake.

  12. Glue flower to the ribbon's center.

  13. Adhere second flower to the bottom front of cupcake.
