Peace and Tranquility Handmade Card

Use the Walking Bridge stamp from Inkadinkado to create this Peace and Tranquility Handmade Card. The beautiful bridge stamp is surrounded by trees in the background and by ducks lazily swimming on the water in the foreground. Use red as your main color in this beautiful handmade greeting card. Create a card that will, in spite of the bold colors, create feelings of peace and tranquility in the recipient. This card can bring a message of inspiration for any occasion, or it can be a beautiful birthday card for a friend celebrating her birthday during the summer months.

4. Use the watercolor pencils and colored felt-tip pens to add color to the stamped image. Color the bridge red and add green to the trees. Use purple and orange to add some “flowers” to two trees. Add different shades of blue and purple to the water. Add a dash of red in the water below to walking bridge to imitate a reflection of the bridge in the water. Add a dash of yellow just below the ducks, to imitate the reflection of the ducks in the water. Lastly, use dark blue to create shadows to bring the picture to life.

5. Cut the colored stamped image to a size of 2.1” x 4” and use 3D self-adhesive foam squares to affix it to the front of the card.

6. Add the 1” red satin ribbon below the colored stamped image. Glue a strip of Washi tape in the middle of the red satin ribbon. Add golden twine right above the top edge of the Washi tape. Cut off any protruding edges at the left and right of the card.

7. Finish it off by gluing the ribbon rosette in place.
