- Black Pigment Stamp Pad
- Colored Felt-Tip Pens: Blue; Purple and Pink
- Pilot Silver Marker Pen
- Upikit Border Punch
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Scissors
- Quick-drying Craft Glue
Instructions:
1. Score the 10.2” x 5.4” light purple marbled cardstock in half to create a card 5.1” x 5.4”.
2. Use the border punch to create a border at one of the 5.3” sides of the sugar paper. Use the inbuilt guide to align each part of the border before punching.
3. With the fold at the top, glue the pink candy striped ribbon to the bottom of the card. Cut off any protruding edges to the left and the right of the card.
4. Next, glue the pink sugar paper to the front of the card, slightly overlapping the pink candy striped ribbon. The punched border of the sugar paper must be at the bottom of the card.
5. Glue the cerise pink belt ribbon in place on the left and right sides of the sugar paper, as well as just above the sugar paper’s punched border. Cut off any protruding edges.
6. Use the pencil and ruler and divide the piece of white printer paper into three equal rows with 4 equal sized rectangles in each row.
7. Press the clear stamp image of the bird onto the acrylic block, cover it with the black ink and transfer it onto the first rectangle. Repeat until you have stamped 12 birds onto the piece of white printer paper.
8. Use the colored felt-tip pens to add some color to the birds. Use pink and blue to color the flowers on the first bird, then purple and blue on the second, then pink and blue on the third again, etc.
9. Use the Pilot silver marker pen to highlight the pencil lines around each rectangle. To create a more interesting effect, do not use a ruler.
10. Use the silver marker pen to add some squiggly shapes to the left and right of each bird’s feet.
11. Centre and glue the paper with the stamped birds to the front of the card.
12. Add the finishing touches with the rhinestone beads.

What a "tweetly" designed card! This Flock of Birds Birthday Card is a perfect way to use up some of the things in my stash! The line drawings of animals colored in by either alcohol or watercolor marker is very, very popular right now.You do have to be careful to use the correct black ink to stamp your feathery friends with according to which type of marker you're using. Thanks for the idea!!!
