- 0.3"-wide darker purple grosgrain ribbon
- 1.2"-wide purple layered crocheted flower
- Meyco Hobby grapevine stencil
- Purple; navy blue; yellow; brown and leaf green felt-tip pens
- Pilot gold marker extra fine point pen
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Clear-drying craft glue (such as Bostik Clear)
Instructions:
-
Score the cream textured cardstock to create a card sized 6" x 5".
-
Place the part of the stencil with the bunch of grapes on the piece of printer paper and use the pencil to trace the bunch of grapes onto the paper.
-
Color the grapes. Start with the purple felt-tip pen, leaving a small white “window of light” in every grape. Use the blue pen to add shadows, and add more depth with the yellow pen.
-
Color the leave and tendrils with the green pen, and add shadows with the brown and blue pens.
-
Add highlights with the golden pen, and then use the same pen to add a stitched border around the piece of paper.
-
With the fold at the left, glue the light purple ribbon to the left of the card. Glue the darker ribbon right next to the lighter ribbon, with the darker ribbon slightly overlapping the lighter one. Cut off any protruding edges.
-
Glue the piece of paper with the grapes to the front of the card.
-
Glue the crocheted flower to the bottom left corner of the card.
