There's something strange going on here... Every page of Welcome to the Colorverse has surprises in store. If you can't get enough of the adult coloring craze but you're craving something extra in your coloring book adventures, you should definitely take a peek inside the Colorverse.
This book takes all the most exciting places in our own world, like candy shops, circuses, forests, and jungles, and twists them into magical realism so that it takes some effort to discover what seems 'off.' As you're coloring, you discover all kinds of hidden gems, visual jokes, and strange happenings.
If you loved search books like Where's Waldo as a kid, you'll enjoy this book quite a bit. There are hidden pictures in every scene that you can discover by searching and coloring. This adds a little mental challenge to keep things fun and interesting while you settle into a relaxing coloring session.
There's a key in each scene so you'll know what image to search for, such as how many gnomes to find in the castle. My favorite scene is a log cabin in mountains with a big bear and … eyes watching from the forest? If that doesn't get your imagination going, I don't know what well. There's also some doodling space on the alternate pages so you can draw in the Colorverse of your own when the mood strikes.
This would be a great book to take along on a long flight or a road trip. It would also make a great gift for teens or tweens. Pull this book out on lazy afternoons for a calming, engaging coloring experience.
