This collection includes 32 Earth Day Paper Crafts to help you go "green" with recycling ideas this Earth Day (and any other day). If you are not familiar, Earth Day is celebrated every year in the United States on April 22. It was first held in 1970 by founder Senator Gaylord Nelson. This day is an important celebration of what we have: clean air, water, and land. Though, it is also as much about awareness of the depletion of our natural resources and what we can do to help keep the earth around for as long as possible.

Many of us take these natural elements for granted. As technology progresses, we are using less and less paper, however, there is still an abundance of paper materials used in everyday life. From paper grocery bags to cardboard boxes, toilet paper rolls to paper towel rolls, and magazines to newspapers, we are surrounded by paper. It's wonderful when you can combine your love of crafting with environmentally-friendly actions.

While looking at these recycling projects, it will become obvious how very versatile paper can be. These Earth Day crafts include card making ideas, DIY paper flowers, kid-friendly crafts, and even toys. There are also tons of home decor ideas you would never believe are made out of recyclables. Clocks, picture frames, bags, lamps, complete organization systems, and more. Because of the variety amongst these paper craft ideas, they have been sorted by material.

I love when I can create on a budget and even more when I can use recycled items. It's always more impressive in the end, too.

There are so many great earth-friendly ideas on this page! I especially love the magazine crafts, like the Rainbow Recycled Magazine Crafts, because I have dozens of old magazines I've been looking for a way to craft with!
