Relax by making some truly adorable origami animals with this colorful book that includes 50 sheets of origami paper. Wild & Wonderful Origami is a stylish, friendly origami book that welcomes people of all ages to try origami.

My experience with origami is limited to the paper cranes they taught us to make in grade school. Picking up this book, I wasn't sure if I'd be patient enough for the task. The book's straight-forward instructions won me over. Not only that, I adored all of the creative photos of origami within the book. The settings really go a long way in showing you that origami can be modern and versatile.

There are 35 different origami animals in this book, so you're not likely to get bored. My favorite design might be the sea turtles, but the dolphin and squirrel were also surprising. You can learn more traditional designs like the crane and fox, too.

Mari Ono and Roshin Oro are a mother-son duo of origami experts, and their consistency makes this book cohesive and easy-to-follow.

This book is so cute that the designs are loveable on their own. But a bonus is that this origami book comes with actual origami paper! The paper is colorful and good quality. It comes in the animal designs, so you can make some truly nice paper art.

This would be a great book to keep you and/or some kids occupied on a rainy afternoon. It's also a great introduction to the world of origami.
