The Japanese art of paper folding and cutting is known as kirigami. These Kirigami Paper Flowers for Kids are simple projects for anyone (even adults) wanting to learn kirigami. It's such a creative paper craft idea and is a bit reminiscent of making paper snowflakes. Except that these DIY paper flowers can be made any time of year and used to decorate for parties or as an after-school project to stave off boredom. This tutorial has step-by-step pictures, written instructions, as well as an accompanying video so that you can figure it out no matter how you learn.

Wow would these Kirigami flowers not look cute in a scrapbook, card or even a invatation. There is a video, written instruction with pictures to show how it is done. Make some in spring colors and put on a canvas and make a wall hanging. I think it would look so pretty. Thanks for the idea.
