Camouflage Birthday Card

"Material: Cardstock cut to 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" notecard, and Kraft cardstock one piece cut to 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" for the frame. Acetate sheet cut to 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Printed paper (you can create your own. Stamped or digital image. The basic construction of this project is the same as you would use for a standard shaker card. I created my own camouflage paper using my gelatin plate and several stencils. I stamped the image onto my background paper and adhered it double-sided foam tape. The stamped balloons are covered with glossy accents and also attached with foam tape. This project is for a belated birthday wish."

Materials List

  • Cardstock: Cream and Kraft
  • Acetate
  • Stamped image and sentiment
  • Rectangle Die
  • Strong Adhesive: Liquid and Double sided tape
  • Markers: Copic or others types.
  • Printed paper

NotesI chose to put my images and sentiment on the outside of the acetate window. You may put it inside, but you do not want to create so much bulk that the foam tape separates from the cardstock and allows your shaker materials to escape the card.
